Getting Started
Obtaining a copy of OpenEngine currently involves doing a bit of work. At some point we might supply nightly builds of various projects. Until then you must do the following steps. The process should not take more then a few minutes.
If you stumble upon and difficulties along the way you may want to check that you have the necessary libraries and programs installed on your system.
Getting Involved
Now that you have OpenEngine up and running you may want to get involved with the project. There are many open problems and many ways to contribute to the project. Be you a hacker or an artist, we would love to have you on the team! To get involved you should do the following:
- Subscribe to our RSS feeds to stay up-to-date.
- Join the OpenEngine forum.
- Meet us on the #openengine channel on freenode.net
- If possible come and hack with us to a OEHack session.
- Head over to the developer section. Here you will find all you need to start hacking the source!
